Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
VERA is an early beta voice-first workspace for asking questions, reasoning through tasks, and using limited productivity actions. This Privacy Policy explains what information VERA may collect, how it may be used, and how users can contact us about privacy questions.
1. Information we may collect
When you use VERA, we may collect account information such as your email address, voice or text inputs you submit, transcripts or generated responses, feedback you send, workspace data such as settings, checklist items, preferences, or memory-like information if you choose to use those features, and technical information such as browser/device details, timestamps, request logs, usage limits, and error logs.
2. Voice and audio
VERA is designed around voice interaction. Depending on the feature and deployment, audio may be processed to create text transcripts and responses. Raw audio is not intended to be kept longer than necessary for processing unless a feature clearly says otherwise. Transcripts, logs, or related text may be stored when needed to provide features, debug issues, improve reliability, or protect the service.
3. How we use information
We may use information to operate VERA, respond to user requests, maintain accounts and sessions, debug errors, improve reliability, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, understand which features are useful, and respond to feedback or support requests.
4. Third-party services
VERA may rely on third-party infrastructure or APIs, including hosting providers, authentication/database providers, Cloudflare, Supabase, and AI/model providers. Information may be processed by those services as needed to operate VERA.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate VERA, when required by law, or when needed to protect the service, users, or others.
6. Data retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is needed for security, debugging, legal, or operational reasons. Because VERA is in beta, retention practices may change as the product develops.
7. User choices and deletion
Users can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with their account, where applicable.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
9. Children
VERA is not intended for children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as VERA changes. The “Last updated” date will be changed when updates are made.
